John Deere first entered the tractor business in 1918 with the Waterloo Boy tractor. To commemorate 100 years of John Deere tractors, the company will host special events throughout the summer of 2018. This campaign would feature stories from farmers who continue to own and operate vintage tractors. The tractors that were selected for the vintage tractor campaign were released between 1918 and 1972.  A vintage photograph would be placed over present day image of the vintage tractor with a quote about each family’s history with John Deere tractors. The campaign’s objective is to recognize the community of farmers who are an essential part of the history and success of John Deere tractors.
